Don't Mess with Cooper

Cooper was officially the toughest wrestler at practice on Thursday! You should have seen the other guy :)

It was great to see Dylan at one of his practices, and I'm really looking forward to his first match. I cheered him on, much to the dismay of a dad sitting next to me. He was not cheering for his son, and was quick to let me know that there is no cheering in wrestling. No cheering in wrestling?? I've been to countless wrestling matches in my day, and I clearly remember cheering. A lot of it. So I cheered even louder. Mostly to annoy him, but also because I think all kids need to hear encouragement. Whether we're at swimming lessons, a school performance, or even doing homework...my kids can always count on me cheering for them!

I think cheering is a great thing, even if they can't hear you. Alex and Jory say they can't hear anyone but their coach when they are on the mat. But I say cheer away, it makes you feel better!!!!!!
