Luke shaved his head.

That's about it. We are headed to the lake for a few days, so you'll have to wait for pictures. I'll post on Sunday when we get home!

Seriously?

OK- I couldn't resist sharing this. Kelly sent it to me in an e-mail. Are there really people like this left in the world? Really?

Summertime

Luke took the day off last Thursday, so we spent the afternoon at the pool. Isabelle went down the waterslide all by herself, and swam to the end of the pool. We were so proud of her! Dylan had a great time, too. He loved the slide, and practiced kicking and blowing bubbles. It was nice to relax and feel the sunshine on our shoulders. It's just what we needed!

Happy birthday, Rylen!

Rylen-
It sounds like you had a happy birthday yesterday! We love you, and hope you have a great time being six years old! Here is a fun recipe you can make with your mom:

Aquarium Cups
(recipe from kraftfoods.com)
4 clear plastic cups
1 package (4 serving size) blue jell-o
3/4 C boiling water
1/2 C cold water and ice cubes
1/2 C chopped strawberries (I'm sure you can use whatever fruit you like)
4 swedish fish
Stir the boiling water into the jell-o for at least two minutes. Add the water and ice cubes and stir until the jell-o is slightly thick. Remove any unmelted ice. If the jell-o is still thin, put it in the fridge until is thickens a little.
Place some fruit on the bottom of each cup, then pour the thickened jell-o over it. Place the fish in the middle of the cup.
Put them in the fridge, and they should be ready to eat in an hour!

Happy birthday, Halle!

Halle-
We hope you had a great birthday yesterday, and also that you have a lot of fun at your party this afternoon! Isabelle drew you a birthday picture:

If you can't tell, that is you and Izzy together. Kind of like velcro, you know! We love you, and hope being six is awesome!

Salon Day

Isabelle decided she wanted her hair cut. So, I called Keith. Here is her "before" picture:

Getting started...
Gulp...

And here is the "after" picture:

All in all, not a bad day at the salon.
